Hi

I'm working on pictures of the house, just been having computer problems so I'll get them as soon as possible. In the meantime, thank you everyone for your help moving us out and moving us in, we couldn't have done it without you!!!
Evan started his first day of work this Monday, so far so good. He has a cool view of the city from his office so he feels really important. j/k. He bought a flat screen tv for downstairs that looks really nice. I think he enjoyed his week off from working, though I'm sure he got cabin fever a bit...I'm used to it ;)
Maile was here for a week helping us unpack, organize and paint. I wouldn't have nearly got all the projects done without her. We painted Kelsey's room, its really cute. Its chocolate brown, I love it. I'll show pics soon. She'll be 5 months tomorrow!
Talk to you all soon. xoxo

Wonderful friends we're going to miss

All I did today was eat! First, my girlfriends from school took me out to a nice lunch at Triple George Grill (if you haven't been you should go, it good). Later that night our other friends took us to Sammy's pizza, thanks to Jeanne's students (yes I'm giving them a shout out) we got free Messy Sundaes (if you want a free sundae, go onto their websites, printout the paper sundae and read the directions, pretty clever). Thanks you guys, I'm going to miss you all so much! And come visit me, all of you are welcome anytime!

Kelsey's 4 months!

This month Kelsey loves to smile, giggle and use her hands to grab everything especially her toes. We have so much fun with her, she's so easy to love, we're so blessed!

Over the break...

We got to spend time with our sister in law Tamara and her 3 little ones. She hapenned to be in the same town our new house is for her nieces wedding so we met up for a couple hours and had a good time. We can't believe how much they've grown, it happens too fast. Ethan was so cute, he just loved giving Kelsey hugs and kisses.

Christmas 2008

This is a little late, but I've been a slacker on my posts. Here are some pictures from Christmas, Kelsey's first. We were in Santa Barbara at my grandmas house this year, or I guess last year, and we had such a great time. I'm still sad that its over, I always feel like it goes by too fast and I can't get enough of Christmas music.

We're moving to California

I apologize to those that are finding out this way before I've called you, but we've just been so busy trying to figure out our plans. Evan has an amazing job opportunity in Burbank and they would like him to come asap. So, he put in his two weeks on Monday. This sounds like a last minute thing, but really we've been thinking about this for a while now, its just hapenning all of a sudden. He'll be working again at public accounting for a family friend who has been wanting him to interview for a couple of years. With the whole economy thing his job here wasn't stable and everyone agreed with him at his current job that he made the right decision, so we feel pretty good about it. Meanwhile, the whole Christmas break we were driving back and forth from Santa Barbara (where my family is) to L.A. area to find a place to live. We decided on Newhall, which is about 10 minutes from Magic Mountain and Evan's commute time will be about 40 min. with traffic. Its a nice town and we are looking forward to moving and calling it 'home'.
It's bittersweet for us because we've made so many good friends and we're so close to a lot of our family, but we have to go where the work is. The plus will be that I'm only an hour and a half from my sister and grandma in Santa Barbara. We are going to miss all of you, but don't worry, we'll drive back often to visit our family here and in Utah.

We're planning to move January 10th, next Saturday! Its crazy, I know. My Aunt was here yesterday and she packed my whole kitchen, THANKS AUNTIE! And I'll be here packing the rest while Evan finishes up his last week, wish me luck! Lots to do!
