I'm so excited...

...because I saw a picture of these books online 2 years ago and couldn't find them anywhere. They are just the classics like 'Pride and Prejudice', 'Great Expectations', etc...
I was surfing the web and saw them again on another design website and this time they included the name of the designer. Low and behold...the sell them and they are super cheap.
I have been envisioning these books on a cute shabby chic bookshelf in my cute white wainscoated home (future dreams). I just had to share.
Does anyone else think they are as awesome as I think they are?

Kelsey's 1st Easter Egg Hunt

This morning Kelsey had her first Easter Egg Hunt. My friend Kim puts this on at her in-laws home. Everyone brings 12 filled eggs and gets to hide them around their big lawn and then they go crazy. We stopped and posed for some cute photo ops in front of their beautiful spring garden. Kelsey finally likes CHOCOLATE! It only took her 19 months to enjoy it. I had to stop her from eating it all (bottom right photo is the aftermath of her binge).

Santa Barbara II

...We played at the beach, got some pretty awesome pics of Kelsey going down the slide. Kelsey is in love with H & J dog Bear. We made pizza's one night and they were awesome. It was so good to see Lani, she helped out a lot with grandma.
Grandma is doing ok, she's taking advantage of the physical training she gets at the home. She is on oxygen now and she is able to move around a lot more. She trains with the walker but mostly is in a wheel chair. She had high spirits last week, hopefully that continues. We love you Grandma!

Santa Barbara I

Kelsey and I headed up to SB again for some quality time with Grandma, Holly, Justin and Lani. We were so happy that one of Grandmas best friends, Alexandria (top right) could join us for her last meal before her little one came. She was a week over due and trying everything she could to get him out! I thought it would be cute to get a picture of grandmas 3 pregnant girls; 2nd trimester, 3rd trimester and 4th trimester :). Kelsey loves Alex, can you tell.
Holly's finally looking preggers, it only took her 7 months!

Kelsey Was 18 Months

Now she's 19 months. She is 33" tall and 25 lbs.
Kelsey enjoys talking, she says almost about anything I stopped counting her words at 50. She's been watching 'Your Baby Can Read' videos since January and she absolutely loves them. Whenever I ask her if she wants to watch a video she gets super excited and runs to the couch and puts her blanket over her.
Kelsey loves to sing. Her favorite songs are; Head, Shoulder, Knees and Toes, If you're Happy and you know it, Twinkle Twinkle, Popcorn song, oh and the infamous Barney song. And she loves to play the piano, I get no practice in anymore because she's always jumping on my lap.
Kelsey loves the TV, what can I say, she's just like her mama.
I've noticed how much she mocks me. It's so cute with her little voice when she is talking to her toys and says "I sa no!" Or when she looks at herself in the mirrors on her closet doors and turns around to make sure her backside looks just as good as her front. :) hee hee, its a girl thing.
She loves to go on long walks with momma in the jogging stroller. Anytime there is someone walking by us she always waves and yells "hi" and if they don't say hi back she says "I sa hi" and keeps waving until they're out of site.
Kelsey loves doggies and kitties, can't get enough of them. Luckily almost everyone on our street has them so she gets it out of her system. She loves to go outside and play with all the neighbor kids, I call it free babysitting. :) I get to sit in the sun and relax while all the older girls watch her every move. It's really funny to watch.
She's also a little drama queen, notice her putting her hands over her face because she wants me to stop taking pictures.
She also started nursery this month, it's not going so well. She cries and cries and wont let us leave, they always end up sending us out but always come back to get us because she doesn't stop crying. She's attached to my hip, poor girl.

Been Crafty Lately

For Christmas my grandma bought me a Pfaff sewing machine which I love! My ward has a sewing class twice a week that I try to make so I can actually learn how to sew. My first project 6 months ago was a bust so I decided to do something a little easier (meaning sewing in a straigh line.) So, I decided to make these cute burp clothes for Holly's baby boy and they turned out so cute and it was so fun to do because it was so simple!
My next sewing attempt is to make her a Boppy cover...I only have 3 months to do it, hopefully I get it done. :/

I've also been obsessed with making hair bows this week, thanks to my friend Tiffany. They are so easy, I don't know why I was buying them (oh wait, pure laziness).

My/Our Birthday

I had a great birthday week. First, Jill took Holly and I to a spa where we had a mud bath treatment and relaxed. It was so nice to get away from children and just relax for a couple hours. I never do anything like that for myself so it was something different and fun. After the spa we went to CPK and gorged, of course. Thanks Jill, I have no pics of you though :(
Saturday night some friends of ours went to PF Changs with us, it was soooo good. I ate a fish I wasn't supposed to eat, oopsie. I haven't been to PF Changs since I worked there a year and a half ago, I sure missed its goodness.
Evan bought me the prettiest bouquet of flowers...thanks babe!

Also, bought these super cute sandals...yay for more cute sandals! :)

A bun in the oven

We are very excited to announce that we are expecting a little one on September 7th. I'm about 15 weeks along and I heard the heartbeat today which was very exciting.
Another hot summer for me in my 3rd trimester...can't wait!
I've been feeling really good, no morning sickness or anything. We can't wait to find out next month what it is.
Stay tuned...
