Kelsey is so fun at 11 months. She's walking, saying "hi" and she finally has teeth! I can't even believe she'll be a year next month, its crazy and sad all at the same time.

Trip to San Diego
Evan had a work conference in San Diego so Kelsey and I got to tag along. It was so much fun. We stayed in this nice hotel overlooking Coronado Bay right by downton Gaslight District. We got to play while daddy worked all day :( . Kelsey and I met up with some people in Del Mar, my hairdresser in Vegas Desiree, Kelsey loved all the attention from her, of course. We all went to a Padres baseball game, a ball came flying at us, hit the girl right behind me! It was sooo scary, it could of seriously hit Kelsey. We had a chance to stop by the San Diego temple, I think its probably the prettiest temple, it looks like a castle and I love how white it is.
We went to this yummy steakhouse Aqua al Due, that I went to in Florence, Italy and they have this amazing blueberry steak, so I was so excited to try it again. So good.

Kelsey and Landon
Kelsey is such a cuddler, she loves her little friend Landon. He's a younger man, 4 month difference but he definitely out weighs her. And he just takes her abuse like a man, she kisses him, hugs him, rolls on top of him, crawls over him, you name it she does it and he just takes it! They're so cute together, Jill and I love watching them.
Bumpits!

Have you seen the Bumpits commercial? Clearly its a low budget 'as seen on tv' gimick with trashy looking girls with lots of makeup. I always made fun of the commercial and even joked with my friends about how ridiculous Bumpits are. But one day, it got to me and I felt like I NEEDED to buy them. In the back of my mind I knew they probably wouldn't work and I probably would never use them. Well...I'm right, they suck, big time. First of all, if you have thin hair like me it totally shows through and just looks super fake. You can obviously tell that there's something plastic under my hair. Oh and plus the pokies on them totally hurt your head and they slip off. So, take it from me...don't buy them! My friend Jill and I modeling "bumpits" below.

(No Jill, no one can tell there's a piece of plastic stuck to your head, it looks classy, real classy)
Before: So plain and boring, no volume, I think I need Bumpits!!!
Regular Bumpit: Hmmm, can't even tell its there.
The "Hollywood" Bumpit: Isn't this fabulous?! It's worse than a beehive!

4th of July weekend in Zion
Last weekend was so much fun, I'm sad its over. We drove up to Utah to visit Evan's two sister's that live there. They have a cabin in Zion National Park and it was soooo much fun. I wasn't really sure what to expect so I packed what I thought I would need (Uggs were one of those items I found out wasn't a good idea to bring, good thing I packed some crappy shoes that I didn't care would get dirty).
I'm labeled as the 'city girl' or 'California girl' but you know...I'm ok with that! I was a 4-wheeler virgin and was probably going 2 mph on it at first (a childs size 4 wheeler) but I got the hang of it after a while. Poor Jeremy and Evan were WAY in front of me and kept looking back, but mostly I was so far back because I didn't want dirt in my face...safe argument, right?! (no really, I didn't want dirt in my face). Kelsey enjoyed the 4-wheeler too, it put her to sleep everytime.
We went fishing in the private lake and I think we caught one fish, which was really exciting for the kids...good job Jordan! Of course I brought 2 lawn chairs with me, one for each baby mama...didn't know we would be hiking a mile in the forest, thanks for carrying them babe! When we were walking back, all these people were diggin around on there knees and looking for something so I said "oh no what did you lose" they stared at me for a good second and said "we're looking for crawfish". Haha, I always say the darndest things!
Thanks Scholzen's for letting us stay with you, we had such a great time. I look forward to when we can do it again.
4th of July cont...
Kelsey and her cousins, Burke wanted to be included in the bow picture. Traci and two of her boys, they picked flowers for their mom. Kelsey loves giving hugs, especially to someone her own size. Kelsey would wrestle with her a couple of times, but little Lizzy's frame couldn't handle Kelsey climbing all over her. Laurie and Millie in the kitchen, and Burke picking his nose.

10 months!
Kelsey also had fun with her cousins from Portland, the twins Cecelia and Catherine and little Ethan. It was good to see Evan's brother James and his wife Tamara, we don't see them too often because they live far away. Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule, we had a lot of fun!
