10 months!

Kelsey is 10 months now! She's enjoys standing without help, eating real food and finally getting her first tooth! I can't believe she will be 1 year in 2 months, it makes me sad to think about. But each day is more and more fun and she progresses. She's still our easy, happy baby and we love it!
Kelsey also had fun with her cousins from Portland, the twins Cecelia and Catherine and little Ethan. It was good to see Evan's brother James and his wife Tamara, we don't see them too often because they live far away. Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule, we had a lot of fun!

Weekend in Santa Barbara

We had such a blast last weekend in Santa Barbara, there was so much going on. First, one of my best friends, Eveline, got married. (Out of all weekends, I was so sick. The bad body aching, where your clothes hurt on, cold. Not fun, but I hung in there.) They were married at the Double Tree rose garden and had their reception there as well. She was the most beautiful bride ever! Congratulations Evie and Rob.

Then, Evan's brother and family were in SB so we got to see them and the kids. We rode the surrey bikes on the boardwalk, minor mishap as seen in pic, but it was all good. :) Evan's legs are still soar from riding the bike. ;)

Pool Day

Our ward had a pool party this weekend and it was so fun. I definitely wasn't planning on jumping in the pool (I'm kinda anti-get-in-a-bathing-suit-in-front-of-people...I know I need to get over myself), but we felt bad for Kelsey so daddy put her in. She loved it, wish we had one in our backyard! I heard comments like "is that a boy or a girl" "I don't know", we shoulda had her cute lil suit. :)

A visit from friends...

Evan's friend from high school in Az came up to visit us. It was such a blast...Santa Monica Pier, Rodeo Drive for dinner at Mastro's (sooo good), golfing in Santa Barbara and of course...Evan's first pedicure! It was a lot of fun, the weekend went by way too fast.

Carpinteria Beach

This is a little old, but Kelsey's first trip into the ocean. Such a girl when it comes to sand.

Los Angeles Temple

Last month, with our Ward Primary, we took a trip down to the temple. Since the theme this year is "Eternal Families" we thought it would be a great idea to take the kids down to the temple to see it. President Monson said, "As we touch the temple, the temple will touch us." What a great idea, for the kids to not only learn about eternal families and temples but they are also encouraged to touch the temple. It was a lot of fun, we had a great turnout and we got a cute family pic!
