My dear 92 old grandma Ruth had open heart surgery today. She went in last week because she was having trouble breathing...she had fluid forming around her lung because one of her valves was too small. After spending a week in the hospital, they decided it was urgent to have the surgery. The last couple days have been extremely scary, especially today since she went in for the surgery this morning at 7 am. Of course there's still a chance that something bad can happen, but at least the scariest part is over!!! Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
