Just got out of my dr's appt. Dr's actually didn't see me, their physicians asst. did, because one is out of town and the other is on call somewhere else (annoying). Brooklyn hasn't dropped and nothing is hapenning...
So, I have to be induced. Apparently my due date is the 6th, not the 7th (not that it really matters but they've been telling me the 7th all along and then just today I'm corrected, and its funny because Monday the 6th is Labor Day anyways :)) But, one Dr. will still be out of town because he thinks he gets a vaction (sarcasm of course) and the other will be on call for another area until Wed.
So, I go in Monday to the hospital to have a NST (Non-stress test) to see how baby's doing and if she's fine then I wait until I can see one of my dr's, either tues or wed and then they will decide when to induce, either wed or thurs.
The good thing is, I'm having Brooklyn next week! The dissapointing thing is I would like her to come now!!!! and I don't want to wait for silly dr's who decide they will go out of town without running it by me first :).
If I have to be induced then please just do it Monday when I'm already at the hospital!!! I don't care if I don't know the dr, I just want this over and done with. I'm a little frusturated and dissapointed...could you tell?

Been there done that! I was due April 15, my birthday was April 17 (I cried all day because I was so OVER IT. On April 21, I went into the Doc and insisted they send me to the hospital and induce me, which they did! So sorry, many sympathies! Baby is just a little too comfortable, too bad Mommy isn't!!! Hope labor comes quickly and goes smoothly. Being induced isn't too bad.
I hope everything works out for you guys! That's frustrating about the whole due date thing, I had that kind of thing happen a couple times to me because I switched doctors. Crazy people.
I feel for you, Nicole. Hang in there it will be over and you'll have a baby in your arms one way or the other by the end of next week. So excited for you. Call me if you need anything.
Aw...you should just wait til 42 weeks and see what happens on its own :) I had my daughter 15 days overdue!
So apparently you're making up due dates in you head huh? Because on my calendar it says you're due on the 7th.
